Pre-treatment with phenoxybenzamine (Dibenzyline - an adrenergic blocking agent), scopolamine (an acetylcholine blocking agent) or 1-benzyl-2-methyl-5-meth-oxytryptamine (an antagonist of 5- hydroxytryptaine) did not block the mental reaction to LSD in volunteers.
