Imagery: Sacred gourd is used by shaman to present offerings (peyote: visionary sacrament) to the gods in order to be blessed and used in rituals. Muvieri stick helps contact the gods, deer are gatekeeper to the spirit world.

Imagery: The deer takes a part in the sacred rituals, and the peyote seeking pilgrims will present it with offerings blessed by the shaman. The gods have commanded the deer with taking care of the sacred peyote cactus in the land of Wirikuta. With magic and power, the deer will show the peyote seeking pilgrims the right path in their travellings.

Imagery: The deer will guide the peyote seeking pilgrims during their travel. The Kieri, or Tree of Wind, is a sacred incarnation of the god of wind. The hummingbird helps carry messages to the gods and spirits.

Imagery: The shaman will present the gods with the sacred offerings. To do this, he will use the sacred gourd bowl. The snakes will guide and protect the shaman during the sacred ritual.

Imagery: The shaman is asking the god of Wind to allow him to consume the Kieri (tree of wind, a sacred psychoactive solanaceous species plant) to obtain its power and wisdom.

Imagery: The hummingbird is the third errand of the healer and is in charge of bringing rain for the crops. The tobacco is used by the healer to cleanse the sick. The healer will bless the offerings to present them to the gods. In the sun, the healer will find the power to cure the sice.

Imagery: The blue deer, or Kauyumari, is in charge of planting the peyote cactus in the sacred land. Then he will guide the shaman in his pilgrimage in search of the peyote.

Imagery: The peyote cactus will help the shaman receive and give meaning to the messages of the gods (including Tatewari, the god of fire). The gods will cleanse and bless the peyote before it is consumed by the shaman, with help from sacred offerings such as blessed arrows and muvieri (staff with feathers).
