In History... 19 & 4 Years Ago Today

On September 12, 1994, alpha-ethyltryptamine was permanently added to Schedule I in the United States.

On September 12, 2009, cannabis activist Jack Herer suffered his second heart attack while backstage at the Hempstalk Festival in Portland, Oregon; complications related to this medical issue led to his death at age 70 on April 15 of the following year.

Spotlight on NBOMes: Potent Psychedelic Issues

Use of the potent psychedelics 25I-NBOMe and 25C-NBOMe has been on the rise over the last three years, and has resulted in at least a dozen deaths. Because NBOMes are sometimes sold on blotter paper, they may be accidentally or intentionally misrepresented as LSD.

LSD versus 25I-NBOME Testing

Zoe Seven Character Vault

Zoe Seven was an intrepid and pioneering psychonaut who combined mind machine technology with numerous psychedelics, detailing his findings and ideas within a couple of autobiographical books. We were saddened to learn of his death this past July, and have created this character vault in his honor.

Crew Notes

Our August Wisdom Cycle Matching Challenge was a big success. We were able to fully meet the incredible challenge offered by the five backers of the drive, who ended up matching the contributions of 115 people who each donated $125 or more during the drive.
