Drug Geek Factlet
Shulgin's self-trials with MDMA began on September 8, 1976 with a small oral dose of 16 mg. An 81 mg dose on September 17 evoked an "alcohol-like intoxication". (Shulgin Pharmacology Notebook I, 186).

AMT shows up in New York under the names IT-290, IT-403, U-14, 164E and Indopan, reports of increasing methylphenidate abuse with special mention of co-ingestion with heroin, and 12 pages about identifying illicit laboratories by the reagents present and tablet machines.

Burning Man: Last week, Fire and Earth spent a few days in the dusty revelry on the playa to commemorate a friend who died earlier this year. One of his last wishes was to have some of his ashes included in the Temple burn. The 2016 Temple was one of our favorites ever. We were honored to participate.

Erowid Families and Psychoactives Interview Series: Maggie
As part of an early-aughts project, we began collecting resources, links, and documents around the topic of children and families in relationship to psychoactive substances. Maggie is a single mom raising her 15-year-old daughter, Juju, who was also interviewed.
